1. Commitment to Data Security & Non-Collection
- User privacy is strictly safeguarded at all times.
- iSafe DOES NOT collect, store illegally, sell, or share personal information or location data with any third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
2. Location Tracking Mechanics
No Background Tracking: iSafe never silently or surreptitiously tracks user activities. Location data is retrieved and transmitted ONLY WHEN the user explicitly initiates actions (Status Update, Emergency SOS, or Safe Walk).
3. Data Storage & Automated Deletion
- Safe Walk Location Data: After the session expires or is manually stopped, only the last known location is temporarily retained for 30 minutes for emergency cross-referencing, after which it is PERMANENTLY DELETED by the system.
- SOS Location Data: SOS locations are displayed exclusively within user-selected groups. Group Admins have permission to clear this history, and users may request deletion at any time to preserve privacy.
4. User Rights
You maintain full control over your data, including the right to:
- Enable or disable location sharing services at any time.
- Select recipient groups for location sharing (up to 3 groups for SOS).
- Request removal of displayed history data within groups.
